PURE is a specialty property & casualty insurance company serving the high net worth segment (think fine homes, luxury cars, collections, art and jewelry).

We launched in 2006 with the goal of bringing much needed alignment and transparency to the high net worth insurance industry. Since then, we have been on a continuous journey to deliver exceptional service to our members by alleviating stress, solving challenges and removing friction from the insurance process. Our people embody this journey every day, and they are the reason we are the most-awarded insurance carrier in our space.

Our people are the hero in our story

Whether they are handling a claim, answering a billing question or providing risk management advice, our people are empathetic and focused on doing the right thing, always. They are often the ones who are there for our members on their darkest days—after a car accident, when a treasured piece of art is damaged or when a home is lost in a fire. Regardless of if they are interacting with members, brokers or vendor partners, our people are solution-oriented, passionate, curious and proud of the work that they do.

We are deeply committed to fostering a work environment where everyone has an equal chance to learn, develop and succeed. We strive to make sure all feel welcome, safe and supported to do their best work and bring their whole self to PURE. One of the ways we accomplish this is through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). We currently have seven ERGs and 47% of employees participate in at least one of these groups.

PURE has grown by around 15% in each year since inception in 2006. In 2019, PURE’s management company was acquired by Tokio Marine, one of the most respected insurance companies in the world, adding to our stability and financial strength. As the company continues to grow, there are more opportunities for internal mobility. In recent years, we’ve seen 36% of roles filled by internal applicants.

If you are new to insurance

For recent graduates and those just getting started in insurance, one of our training programs might be a great fit for you. In these roles, you’ll have the opportunity to improve your technical skills while also building relationships with our members and business partners.

How the hiring process works

You’ve submitted your application, now what?

Application Review: Our hiring team will review your application. If there is a match, you’ll receive an invitation for a job screening.

Screening: You’ll be contacted by our team to have a conversation about you, your experience and your interest in the role. You may then be asked to meet for an interview.

Interview: You’ll take part in a cultural interview with a team that is dedicated to getting to know you, as well as giving you the opportunity to get to know PURE. Whether you’re hired or not, you’ll receive a phone call from our team with an update on your candidacy.

Creative Projects & Assessments: Along the way, you may be asked to complete assessments and creative projects to ensure the role best matches your skills. These assignments also give you a greater understanding of the role and what success looks like.

If You’re Hired: You’ll be guided through a comprehensive on-boarding, and you will be asked to pass a background and drug test upon signing your offer letter.
